Terms & Conditions:
BY PURCHASING ONE OF MY COMMISSION ARTWORKS, THE CLIENT IS AGREEING TO AND IS BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT:
Art piece composed in the artists style adapting the traditional technique of stippling, using a combination of black pigment ink liners, watercolour & acrylic paints on white paper, placed into a cellophane sleeve and backed for protection. Each art piece will be created using a reference image provided by the client, via email.
The artist has the right to turn down the commission if a high quality reference image can not be provided, or demand is too high.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Payment can be made via bank transfer or Paypal. A 50% deposit is required to secure a time slot and place on waiting list - this deposit is non-refundable once the art piece has been started. The balancing payment is required before the product will be dispatched. Receipt/invoice, via email, will be provided by the artist for each payment received.
TARGET DATES:
A target date will be agreed before starting the art piece. If the client has a specific time frame then this should be stated before any commission orders are placed. The artist aims to complete any art piece within 7 days of the agreed target date, but can not be guaranteed. The client will be notified when the product has been dispatched.
DELIVERY OF PRODUCT:
The product will be posted via Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked and Signed for, with no extra cost within the UK. The client will be provided with the tracking number once dispatched. Art piece will be gift wrapped in tissue paper and placed into a Kraft postage box, cushioned on shredded Kraft paper for a safe journey. A certificate of authenticity will be provided with the art piece.
Overseas delivery will be charged based on the Royal Mail prices at the time of booking, and added to the balancing payment. Payment of import duty may be required in some countries, which is the responsibility of the client.
RETURNS & DAMAGES:
Returns of commission art piece once complete will not be accepted.
If the item arrives damaged, a photograph of the damaged product must be sent to the artist within 48 hours of receiving it. This will then determine whether a refund or replacement is required and can be discussed further. If replacement is required, this will be at no extra cost to the client once original product is returned to the client.
COPYRIGHT ©:
The artist retains the copyright of the art piece, so therefore has the right to use an image of the work for portfolios, this website and social media. The client does not have the right to sell copies of the work in any way without permission from the artist.
DATA PROTECTION:
The artist will need to collect the following information; the clients name, email address and postal address. This information will only be used to send receipts/invoices and to deliver the product. The clients details and image reference will be deleted/destroyed within 28 days of the product being received, unless the client opts to join the artists mailing list.
